This privacy policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

No cookies

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Fonts and graphics are loaded from our own server, so no data is passed to third parties such as Google.

Web analytics with PostHog

To understand how our website is used, we use the analytics service PostHog, provided by PostHog Inc., USA. The data is stored on servers in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany).

We collect, for example, pages visited, clicks, browser, device type, approximate location and the page that referred you to us. PostHog runs in cookieless mode: no cookies are set and no identifiers are stored in your browser. We cannot identify you personally and only use the data in aggregated form to improve the website.

To prevent this collection, you can enable “Do Not Track” in your browser or use a content blocker.

Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. Under Swiss law, Germany provides an adequate level of data protection. When you open a page, the server automatically stores technical information such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type. We need this data to operate the website securely and keep it only as long as necessary for that purpose.

Contact by email

If you email us, we use your details only to answer your request. Our email runs on Microsoft 365.

Appointment booking

To book an intro call, we link to Microsoft Bookings. If you book an appointment there, Microsoft’s privacy terms also apply. Data may be transferred to countries outside Switzerland, in particular the EU and the USA.

Your rights

You can ask at any time which personal data we hold about you and request that it be corrected or deleted. Write to hello@bitcrafts.ch.

We may update this privacy policy. The version published on this website applies.
